At Pharmacodynamic Dyes, we create unique, handmade tie-dyed clothing. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and all sales are final with no returns, exchanges, or refunds except as outlined below.

Our Commitment to Quality

While we do not accept returns for change of mind, color preference, or sizing issues, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We will make exceptions only for legitimate defects or damage that is our fault.


Exceptions to Final Sale Policy

We will ONLY accept returns for:

1. Manufacturing Defects

  • Holes in the fabric
  • Ripped or unfinished seams
  • Missing or broken closures (buttons, zippers, snaps)
  • Faulty construction that affects wearability

2. Damage During Shipping

  • Items damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging
  • Items that arrived torn, stained, or otherwise compromised

3. Our Error

  • Wrong item shipped
  • Wrong size shipped (when you ordered a specific size)

What Is NOT Covered

The following are NOT considered defects or grounds for return:

Color variations – Each tie-dye piece is unique; colors may vary from photos
Pattern differences – No two tie-dyed items are identical
Sizing issues – Please review our size chart carefully before ordering
Change of mind – All sales are final once order is placed
Dye bleeding – Minor dye transfer is normal with tie-dye; follow care instructions
Screen color differences – Colors may appear different on various devices
Minor imperfections – Small irregularities are inherent to handmade items
Wrinkles – Items may arrive wrinkled from shipping; these can be ironed out


Return Process (For Covered Issues Only)

If you believe your item qualifies for one of the exceptions listed above, follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us Immediately

Email us at pharmacodynamicdyes@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear, detailed photos showing:
  • The defect or damage
  • The entire garment
  • Close-ups of the problem area
  • Any packaging damage (if applicable)
  • Description of the issue

Step 2: Await Our Review

  • We will review your photos and determine if the issue qualifies for a return
  • Our determination is final
  • This typically takes 1-3 business days
  • We may request additional photos or information

Step 3: If Approved

If we determine the issue is our fault:

Option A: Prepaid Return

  • We will email you a prepaid return shipping label
  • Package the item securely
  • Drop it off at the designated carrier location
  • Once received and inspected, we will issue a refund

Option B: Refund Without Return

  • In some cases (minor defects, low-value items), we may issue a refund or partial refund without requiring the item to be returned
  • This is at our sole discretion

Step 4: Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Original shipping charges will be refunded if the issue was our fault

Important Policies

Photo Requirements

  • Photos are mandatory – We cannot process claims without clear photos
  • Photos must clearly show the defect or damage
  • Photos must be taken before washing or wearing the item

Time Limit

  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
  • Claims submitted after 7 days will not be considered
  • Keep your tracking information as proof of delivery date

Item Condition

  • Items must be unworn and unwashed to qualify for return
  • Items must have original tags attached
  • Items must not have any odors (perfume, smoke, etc.)

Our Decision Is Final

  • We reserve the right to determine whether an issue qualifies for a return
  • Our quality standards and definitions of defects are at our sole discretion
  • Disagreement with our determination does not constitute grounds for a return

To ensure you’re happy with your purchase:

Review size charts carefully – Measure yourself and compare to our size guide
Read product descriptions – Understand that each item is unique
View all photos – Colors and patterns will vary from what’s shown
Understand tie-dye – Variations are part of the beauty of handmade tie-dye
Ask questions – Contact us before ordering if you’re unsure about anything


No Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you receive a defective item and your return is approved, you will receive a refund. You may place a new order for a different size or item if desired.


Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for packages that are:

  • Marked as “delivered” by the shipping carrier
  • Stolen from your delivery location
  • Lost after successful delivery confirmation

Please file a claim with the shipping carrier if your package is lost or stolen. Consider requiring a signature at delivery or using a secure delivery location.


International Orders

  • All policies above apply to international orders
  • You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees
  • These charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping (if approved) will be provided via prepaid label

Care Instructions

Proper care extends the life of your tie-dyed clothing:

  • Wash in cold water separately or with like colors for first few washes
  • Use mild detergent – avoid bleach or harsh chemicals
  • Turn inside out before washing
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Iron on low if needed

Failure to follow care instructions may void any claims for defects.
